LOTS OF KNOWLEDGE

Until this week I had to learn and deal with many useful programas like EXELEANING that allows me to create and publish my guide study and course information about my proyect.

I also used FIREWORKS to create a bits' map about Snoopy,with this program I coild modify certain images to create only one and also to give it movment,

Another program or web page that I used was MINDOMO, with this I could create colorful and funny mind maps.

In fact I have finish so tired because I had to do a lot of things, however; I have finish.

C MAP TOOLS

Today I learnt how make use of the program
"C MAP TOOLS" it is really useful to make concep maps with diferent formats,
colors, images.

I think this is a very useful tool for the
teaching process due to we as a teacher can present information, vocabulary to
students in a diferent and new way.

This program is not difficult to use because it
contains very specific tools to develeop or crate your own concept
map.

STRUCTURA DE UNA PÁGINA WEB

Today I learnt what the language of a web page is formed. It is by the developing og a HTML language, that consist on abreviations, sings and many things. Sincerly I think it is difficult for me, but I will try to pay more attention in all the explanations.

Also today I decided to do my homework because maybe I can forget how to do it, but I am really sure that after practicing some times I will do it better.

March 30th - April 15th "Project"

Since March 30 th to April 15th I have working on the developing of my project of a Distance Course about a 3rd Module "The Calendar" in the A1 level of English. I have modified constantly the course guide because it is the base to develop everything.

I did my best and I very exited because I want to see my work accomplish its obejective in the students' learnig. I think that this work will be found in the Educative Platform of the UAEH.

PICNIK.COM

Picnik.com is a tool of the web 2.0 that is going to help us in the editting of pictures or photos. It offers several options if you want to change the size of the picture, the color , the shape, even you can add many drawins you can make or redo a picture as many times as you want.

I like so much this application that now I have not stop doing changes to my photos. That's great! I really enjoy doing many things with this tool.

I am thinking how I can implement this tool of the web 2.0 in my web page to teach English.

DISTANCE EDUCATION

Distance Education is a useful tool that have change the way of the common teaching, due to it doesn't matter if the student is too far of the school because with the Distance Education will allow the student to have a good autonomous learning.

Base on the reading I could learn the following aspects: Distance education is a way of learning wherever students are in any time.It has many advantages like, many opportunities by anyone, anywhere at any time.Distance education can be given trough telephone, computer conferring or teleconfering.

The Machine is Us/ing Us

This video was really interesting about the machine...
in my view nowadays computer and internet are absorbing us because as in the video said each day millions and millions of people access to a web page to search something or just for fun.

I think machine is absorbing us, because we need and use it for everything, it can be with a professional, learning or searching purpose, however, we use it constantly for social purposes like make a social chat room, to play, to upload photos, videos or something to internet.

Adult people think that for the new generations of teenagers computer is a kind of addiction that can affect their behavior. We can notice that because is too common that we use to spend a lot of time in front of the computer doing many things living in a cybernetic space that when we see the entire day has gone.

This video has taught me many things that I have not seen because I am one of the addict people to the machine.

SOCIAL BOOKMARKIN & DELICIOUS

It is a method for Internet users to share, organize, search, and manage bookmarks of web resources.

This tool can be very useful for English teaching, because the teacher can create a list of web resources that can help to the students to develops their skills or proficiency in the language. Other options could be that it can conteins wep pages in which students can practice or reinforce what they have learned during the presential classes.

There are many bookmarking sites as DELICIOUS that allows to the users to save their bookmarks to a public web page and instead of organizing them into folders let the user tag their bookmarks with key words for ease the researching.

It is media designed to be create a social interaction with people using many electronic tools that are provided for internet.

Social media can help us as teachers in the way to have real communication with students in order they can have interaction with the language. It is a funny way to use the language with anyone who speaks it.

I think that it is a good technique to motivate students to use the language in a real contexts, and having the opportunity not just to practice the language, also to learn about other cultures and to meet new people.

PROYECT STRUCTURE

Today we learnt to make a new google site in which we are going to create a teaching page that it will be able to help students in their development of English learning.
My partner and me chose to focus our proyect to students who have A2 level in proficiency of English.

The information that I provide below is the one who re presents the proyect structure:

Project’s name: Developing my English competences.

Competence: Listening and Reading comprehension.

Objectives:
1. At the end of the course students of A2 level of English will be able to recognize and select specific information to answer some exercises as accurate as possible.

Today I learnt that techonologies is not only cell phones, computers or robots, there are many kinds of technologies that have been revolutionizing day by day. Now a day we have the opportunity to be in contact with the new evolution of technology that allow to humans communicating.

NICTs (New Information Commmunication Techonologies) that help to the exchange, treatment and storage of data.

Nowadays we have NICTs like:

virtual learning platforms
Broadband Internet

***Virtual Learning Platforms***

The VLP are software that allows to teacher has a virtual space to control the content of the course, discussion forums, evaluation, organization; and of course giving to the students a new opportunity to be in contact with the technology that it is gointo help them to have a self learnig.

***IMPACT***

we can see the great impact of the NICTs in our society due to almost all people have a new necessity to be prepare to "the machine's age" or simply to the globalizations; nevertheless NICTs have also good advantages like: motivation to work in a collaborative way. the exchange of information in the whole world and mainly in the education.

As a manner of fact, we can see the evolution of education according to the NICTs because this motivates teacher and ss to work in a collaborative way and the most important that all of these technologies allow ss to be more independent to the teacher.

Google Sites

Today I had a good experiece learning how to create a web site; I've never made one, but today I learnt that this process is not imposible and not too complicated.

I can say that a good technique for make well all things is to pay attention specially to the technology because it is difficult but not imposible.

I strongly belive that to create a web site with academical purposes is really important as a tool of the process learning - teaching, because nowadays all people have the necesity to be directly in touch with the technolog.

Personally, every thing that today I ´ve learnt it is useful for me, because this is the bigining to create others web sites with my own stlye.
