SOCIAL BOOKMARKIN & DELICIOUS


It is
a method for Internet users to share, organize, search, and manage bookmarks of web resources.

This tool can be very useful for English teaching, because the teacher can create a list of web resources that can help to the students to develops their skills or proficiency in the language. Other options could be that it can conteins wep pages in which students can practice or reinforce what they have learned during the presential classes.

There are many bookmarking sites as DELICIOUS that allows to the users to save their bookmarks to a public web page and instead of organizing them into folders let the user tag their bookmarks with key words for ease the researching.

SOCIAL MEDIA

It is media designed to be create a social interaction with people using many electronic tools that are provided for internet.

"Social media can take many different forms, including Internet forums, weblogs, social blogs, microblogging, wikis, podcasts, pictures, video, rating and social bookmarking. Technologies include: blogs, picture-sharing, vlogs, wall-postings, email, instant messaging, music-sharing." http://en.wikipedia.org


Social media can help us as teachers in the way to have real communication with students in order they can have interaction with the language. It is a funny way to use the language with anyone who speaks it.

I think that it is a good technique to motivate students to use the language in a real contexts, and having the opportunity not just to practice the language, also to learn about other cultures and to meet new people.

PROYECT STRUCTURE

Today we learnt to make a new google site in which we are going to create a teaching page that it will be able to help students in their development of English learning.
My partner and me chose to focus our proyect to students who have A2 level in proficiency of English.

The information that I provide below is the one who re presents the proyect structure:

Project’s name: Developing my English competences.

Competence: Listening and Reading comprehension.

Objectives:
1. At the end of the course students of A2 level of English will be able to recognize and select specific information to answer some exercises as accurate as possible.

Instructional Design

are strategies and tools that help to the learning and teaching process. The designer can be a specific person or just the same teacher that can be able to use the teaching methodology correctly.

There are different kinds og instructionla designs like:

*ADDIE (Analysis Design Development Implementation Evaluation . 5 steps)
*DICK & CAREY (10 steps)
*HANNAFIN & PECK (3 stesp)
*DAVIS (5 steps)
*PRADDIE (analysis)

Most of all those instructional designs can be focused on the analysis, evaluation, and implementation for the learning process of students.

***NICTs***

Today I learnt that techonologies is not only cell phones, computers or robots, there are many kinds of technologies that have been revolutionizing day by day. Now a day we have the opportunity to be in contact with the new evolution of technology that allow to humans communicating.

NICTs (New Information Commmunication Techonologies) that help to the exchange, treatment and storage of data.

Nowadays we have NICTs like:
videoconferences
virtual learning platforms
Broadband Internet
players
web 2.0

***Virtual Learning Platforms***

The VLP are software that allows to teacher has a virtual space to control the content of the course, discussion forums, evaluation, organization; and of course giving to the students a new opportunity to be in contact with the technology that it is gointo help them to have a self learnig.

***IMPACT***

we can see the great impact of the NICTs in our society due to almost all people have a new necessity to be prepare to "the machine's age" or simply to the globalizations; nevertheless NICTs have also good advantages like: motivation to work in a collaborative way. the exchange of information in the whole world and mainly in the education.

As a manner of fact, we can see the evolution of education according to the NICTs because this motivates teacher and ss to work in a collaborative way and the most important that all of these technologies allow ss to be more independent to the teacher.
