Picnik.com is a tool of the web 2.0 that is going to help us in the editting of pictures or photos. It offers several options if you want to change the size of the picture, the color , the shape, even you can add many drawins you can make or redo a picture as many times as you want.

I like so much this application that now I have not stop doing changes to my photos. That's great! I really enjoy doing many things with this tool.

I am thinking how I can implement this tool of the web 2.0 in my web page to teach English.

DISTANCE EDUCATION

Distance Education is a useful tool that have change the way of the common teaching, due to it doesn't matter if the student is too far of the school because with the Distance Education will allow the student to have a good autonomous learning.

Base on the reading I could learn the following aspects: Distance education is a way of learning wherever students are in any time.It has many advantages like, many opportunities by anyone, anywhere at any time.Distance education can be given trough telephone, computer conferring or teleconfering.

The Machine is Us/ing Us

This video was really interesting about the machine...
in my view nowadays computer and internet are absorbing us because as in the video said each day millions and millions of people access to a web page to search something or just for fun.

I think machine is absorbing us, because we need and use it for everything, it can be with a professional, learning or searching purpose, however, we use it constantly for social purposes like make a social chat room, to play, to upload photos, videos or something to internet.

Adult people think that for the new generations of teenagers computer is a kind of addiction that can affect their behavior. We can notice that because is too common that we use to spend a lot of time in front of the computer doing many things living in a cybernetic space that when we see the entire day has gone.

This video has taught me many things that I have not seen because I am one of the addict people to the machine.

SOCIAL BOOKMARKIN & DELICIOUS

It is a method for Internet users to share, organize, search, and manage bookmarks of web resources.

This tool can be very useful for English teaching, because the teacher can create a list of web resources that can help to the students to develops their skills or proficiency in the language. Other options could be that it can conteins wep pages in which students can practice or reinforce what they have learned during the presential classes.

There are many bookmarking sites as DELICIOUS that allows to the users to save their bookmarks to a public web page and instead of organizing them into folders let the user tag their bookmarks with key words for ease the researching.

It is media designed to be create a social interaction with people using many electronic tools that are provided for internet.

Social media can help us as teachers in the way to have real communication with students in order they can have interaction with the language. It is a funny way to use the language with anyone who speaks it.

I think that it is a good technique to motivate students to use the language in a real contexts, and having the opportunity not just to practice the language, also to learn about other cultures and to meet new people.

PROYECT STRUCTURE

Today we learnt to make a new google site in which we are going to create a teaching page that it will be able to help students in their development of English learning.
My partner and me chose to focus our proyect to students who have A2 level in proficiency of English.

The information that I provide below is the one who re presents the proyect structure:

Project’s name: Developing my English competences.

Competence: Listening and Reading comprehension.

Objectives:
1. At the end of the course students of A2 level of English will be able to recognize and select specific information to answer some exercises as accurate as possible.
